PhD Student Bauyrzhan Nassyrdınov from Kazakhstan Started Internship at Our Department

Bauyrzhan Nassyrdınov, a 3rd-year PhD student at the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, Faculty of Philology of Shymkent Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan University, where our Department Chair Prof. Dr. Ercan ALKAYA serves as foreign advisor, has arrived at our university to undertake an academic internship between January 5, 2026 and February 5, 2026.

Within the scope of the one-month internship program, Nassyrdınov is expected to participate in the academic activities carried out in our department, attend courses and seminars, and gain practical experience regarding scientific research processes. This internship holds particular significance in terms of enhancing higher education cooperation between Türkiye and Kazakhstan and strengthening mutual scholarly exchange in the field of Turkic world philology studies.

During his stay, Nassyrdınov met with members of our academic staff and will have the opportunity to receive academic feedback related to his doctoral research on Kazakh language and literature while becoming acquainted with new research approaches. The visit is anticipated to contribute to the scientific and cultural ties between the two institutions and to lay the groundwork for future joint projects.
