A Kazakh Doctoral Student Participates in an Internship Program at Our Department

Gulzhan Soltanmuratova, a second-year doctoral student in the Department of Foreign Languages within the Faculty of Philology at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, under the international academic supervision of Prof. Dr. Ercan Alkaya, a faculty member of our department, has visited our department as part of a one-month internship program.

During the internship period, the doctoral student is expected to actively participate in the academic activities carried out within our department, gain practical experience, and closely observe ongoing scholarly studies in her field. The program aims to contribute to the development of her academic knowledge and research skills while providing opportunities to become acquainted with different research environments and to exchange ideas with academics on contemporary scholarly approaches and research methodologies.

The internship program is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of higher education cooperation between Türkiye and Kazakhstan and to strengthen the mutual exchange of knowledge in the field of Turkic World philology. Furthermore, the visit is anticipated to reinforce the scientific and cultural ties between the two institutions and to establish a solid foundation for future joint academic projects and research collaborations.
