Graduate
Our department offers master’s and doctoral programs focused on the study of contemporary Turkic languages, literatures, and cultures across regions from the Balkans to the Pacific. We aim to equip students with in-depth knowledge of Turkic dialects, history, arts, and folklore, while providing hands-on learning through fieldwork and media engagement.
Founded on a multidisciplinary approach, our mission is to develop skilled experts in Turkic studies who can apply critical insights in areas such as international relations, sociocultural analysis, and linguistic heritage. Graduates gain the tools to contribute to cultural and technological advancements, strengthen Turkic world connections, and enhance Turkish language visibility globally. We also emphasize continuous learning and foster students’ ability to work both independently and collaboratively, meeting international academic standards.
By bridging cultures within the Turkic-speaking world, our program supports Turkey’s role in regional cooperation, preparing graduates to take on impactful roles in academia, cultural institutions, and beyond.
