Kazakh PhD Students Completed Their Internship at Our Department

PhD students Nursaule UKANBAEVNA and Dulat SULTANBEK from the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, Faculty of Philology at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University—under the international academic supervision of Prof. Dr. Gülda ÇETİNDAĞ SÜME, a faculty member of our department—successfully completed their internship at our department between March 20, 2026 and April 20, 2026.

During the one-month internship program, the doctoral students actively participated in the academic activities conducted within our department, attended courses and seminars, and gained practical experience in scientific research processes. This internship has made a significant contribution to strengthening higher education cooperation between Türkiye and Kazakhstan and enhancing mutual knowledge exchange in the field of Turkic world philology.

Throughout the internship period, the students met with faculty members of our department, evaluated their doctoral research on Kazakh language and literature, and had the opportunity to become acquainted with new academic approaches. This visit is expected to contribute to the scientific and cultural ties between the two institutions and to lay the groundwork for future collaborative academic projects.
